Khurram Shahzad, DDS, MD
I grew up in Long Island, New York and went to college at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook where I majored in Biology and graduated with honors in 1997. I graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in the top 10 percent of the class in 2002. Next I enrolled in the dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Northshore Medical Center and the Northport VA Medical Center. During this period, I graduated from SUNY Stony Brook Medical School in 2005 with an MD degree and completed a rigorous internship in General Surgery at LIJ/NS/VA. Finally I completed my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical training at LIJ/NS/VA in 2008 having served as Chief Resident in my final year.
Dr. Jay Fedorowicz
Dr. Jay Fedorowicz is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercythen completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and residency at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C. He served one tour as a United States Air Force general dental officer in Japan before completing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield.
Dr. Johnston, DDS
Dr. Johnston received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology from Brigham Young University and Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Colorado at the Anschutz Medical Campus. He then pursued surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center. Following residency, he completed one year of fellowship training in Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
